Horsforth JFC is a progressive, forward thinking club. We like to push the boundaries and think differently. That is why we’re the only club in the area to pay for professional coaches at every single age group.
We believe this gives every play at the club the best chance to maximise their potential and grow as a player.
Our vision
Horsforth JFC was set up in 2010 with a clear vision in mind. We aim to give all children (ages 4 upwards) the best possible introduction to all aspects of football. We put high quality coaching at the centre of our vision and pride ourselves on the consistency and quality of our training.
Our teams
Horsforth JFC have training and match opportunities for every age group. Our teams start with Under 6s and continue through to Under 18s. We train throughout the season at a number of venues around Horsforth and teams play competitive matches in various local leagues. We also offer specialist neurodiverse training (new for 24/25 season).
Academy coaching
We are proud to be the only club in the area who use paid FA qualified football coaches at every age group. We believe that by continually focusing on the standard of coaching we offer we are able to give the best chance to all players - whatever their ability.

Training times, venues and fees

Our training opportunities continue to expand each season. We train regularly on a Saturday morning as well as offering mid-week sessions on a team-by-team basis. Our training facilities at Trinity University and Horsforth school are on all weather pitches. We also offer indoor training for some of our younger players.
Parent support and community
Horsforth JFC has always been a community football club. Our paid coaches are backed up by a dedicated set of parent managers, helpers and administrators. Everyone at the club is safeguarding trained and vetted. Our volunteering family continues to grow each season and we’re always on the lookout for more people to get involved.
